Bharat Hotels Ltd, which runs the Lalit brand of hotels and resorts in India, has purchased 70-room property in London. It is currently being converted into a hotel and will be operational in the next three years. The company operates nine luxury hotels and resorts in India. The company has planned investment of Rs 1,500-crore by 2015. Of this, Rs 500 crore would be invested in 25 budget hotels under the Lalit Traveller brand and Rs 1,000 crore for setting up luxury hotels. Besides, it also plans to set up hotels in Dubai & Thailand.
